(1) The duck (goose) down that has been cultivated for more than one year is about 100 to 150 per 0.1 gram.

(2) The duck (goose) down that is cultivated for 6 to 8 months is about 200 to 230 per 0.1 gram.

(3) Each 0.1 g of duck (goose) down cultured for more than 60 days is about 320 to 360.

(4) The duck (goose) down cultured for more than 35 days is about 400 to 460 per 0.1 g.

(5) Duck (goose) down for about 28 days is about 550 to 620 per 0.1 gram.

The larger the down feathers are, the more difficult it is to purify because the filaments are long and the feathers are tightly entangled with each other; the general processing factory can only extract the down to 86~88. And to refine to a higher down content (90~95 down), you need a very professional down manufacturer to do it.

The color of down

The velvet color of ducks (goose) raised for more than 60 days is very white, but there is no guarantee that 100% of them are pure white, and they contain about 0.1% black velvet. This is because white ducks (goose) that have been bred for a long time will grow different-colored down on their bodies, just as people grow white hair when they are older.
