Roller bearing clutch is a new type of friction type overrunning clutch, which has higher load carrying capacity, longer service life, and reliable locking compared to existing overrunning clutches. In particular, based on its principle, it is possible to develop products suitable for different situations by changing certain parameter values. The operation principle of the clutch is introduced in, and the movement and force analysis are conducted. This article will use the relevant theories of tribology to analyze and study the power consumption caused by rolling friction of the clutch, providing a basis for further dynamic analysis and thermal analysis.
