The carousel is a rotating circular platform with a rider's seat. Traditionally, seats are in the form of rows of carousels or other animals, installed on pillars, many of which move up and down through gears to simulate galloping, accompanied by circular circus music.

Carousels are usually powered by electricity, but there are also some manual carousels. On a manual carousel, tourists need to push the carousel to spin on their own, which requires significant strength and skill. However, due to safety and efficiency considerations, manual carousels have gradually been replaced by electric carousels.
