Applications

1,Water Wells: The most common application. The perforated filter tube is installed in the water-bearing aquifer. It allows water to enter the well while keeping the surrounding sand and gravel out.

2,Dewatering: Used in construction and mining to lower the water table. Wellpoints (small-diameter perforated tubes) are driven into the ground and connected to a vacuum pump to draw water out.

3,Oil and Gas Wells: Similar to water wells, used in the production zone to allow hydrocarbons to flow into the wellbore while controlling sand production.

4,Landfill & Leachate Systems: Perforated pipes are used to collect leachate (contaminated liquid) from the base of a landfill or to distribute gases in venting systems.

5,French Drains & Drainage: Perforated pipes surrounded by gravel are used to collect and redirect groundwater away from foundations, fields, and roads.

6,Intake Screens: Used in rivers, lakes, or oceans for industrial water intake, irrigation, or aquaculture, preventing aquatic life and debris from entering the system.
