The dichroic film of the depolarizing beam splitter prism adopts a metal dielectric mixed film system, so the outgoing light maintains the same polarization state as the incident light. Depolarizing beam splitter prisms have low polarization, but this type of metal dielectric mixed film layer has a certain absorption of light energy (the average absorption within the nominal bandwidth is <10%). It is recommended not to use it in a strong laser energy environment.
