The melting point of aluminum is 685 degrees, the boiling point is 2065 degrees, and the melting heat absorption is 323kJ/g. Aluminum is reductive, easy to oxidize, and exothermic in the oxidation process. During rapid oxidation, the heat release per gram is 15.5kJg. Aluminum is a ductile metal and easy to process. The oxide film on the surface of aluminum is transparent and has good chemical stability.

The aluminum powder is silvery white metal powder, with spontaneous combustion temperature of 5900 ℃ and dust explosion limit of 40mg/m3. Do not touch dilute acid or strong alkali. When a large amount of dust is damp, it will naturally heat up. The mixture of aluminum powder and other metal oxides will react violently or catch fire in case of fire. Mixing with halogen elements will cause fire. Explosive reactions may occur when heated or rubbed with halogenated hydrocarbons.
