Spider Lift Operators & Personnel
Spider lift (spider-type aerial work platform) practitioners focus on certified operation and technical services, covering the entire industrial chain. The global market is growing, with a significant shortage of skilled operators and maintenance technicians, especially in developing regions.
I. Core Positions and Responsibilities
Frontline Operator:
Responsible for equipment lifting, outrigger leveling, boom control, and emergency handling; risk assessment before operation and compliance with safety standards during operation.
Installation/Dismantling & Maintenance Technician:
Assembly and disassembly for relocation; regular inspection, maintenance of hydraulic, electrical and battery systems; fault diagnosis and cooperation with remote support.
Safety & Training Specialist:
Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs), organize certified training, provide on-site safety supervision, conduct accident review and compliance audits.
Sales & Application Engineer:
Liaise with rental/engineering clients, provide working condition matching and quotation; technical consultation, bidding support, and delivery training.
Rental Operations Management:
Fleet scheduling, equipment records, client qualification review, shift settlement, and used equipment disposal.
R&D and Manufacturing:
Structural and electronic control design, prototype testing; core component assembly, factory inspection and certification compliance.
II. Core Qualifications and Access Requirements
Mandatory Official Certificates (choose one based on scenario)
Emergency Management Department:
Special Operation Certificate (Working at Height for Installation, Maintenance, and Dismantling) – mandatory for construction and high-risk scenarios, valid nationwide.
State Administration for Market Regulation:
Special Equipment Operator Certificate (Q2, Lifting Machinery Operation) – required if the equipment falls under the special equipment catalog (lifting height ≥ 2m and load capacity ≥ 0.5t).
General Application Requirements
At least 18 years old
Passed physical examination at or above the county level (no heart disease, acrophobia, or other contraindications)
Junior high school education or above
Completed required theoretical and practical training and passed assessment
Internal Company Requirements
Special training for specific brand models, authorized service qualifications
Special certification for battery and electronic control systems for electric/hybrid models
Aerial work insurance and work permits required by some clients
