The fermentation industry defoamer is specially used to eliminate biological fermentation emulsion foam.It can recover to emulsified state automatically after high-temperature sterilization,not separated or break emulsion in the fermentation liquid.Fermentation industry defoamer is polyether defoamer,it has good hydrophilicity,easily spread in the foaming medium, very effective in deforming.However, its solubility is larger comparatively, defoaming time is not long,so these features make it a very powerful antifoam widely used in viscous fermentation broth.Its advantage is environmentally friendly, efficient, no stain, low moisture absorption , applied to the vast majority of non-silicon defoamer industry to meet an anti-foaming and defoaming needs.
1208 polyether defoamers has poor hydrophilicity, the solubility in the foamed medium is small, it is always used in thin fermentation broth,its foam control ability is better than defoaming, it’s suitably added to the basic medium, to suppress the bubble generation of the entire fermentation process.
