Tribulus terrestris is an herbal plant in the caltrop family widely distributed around the world, that is adapted to grow in dry climate locations in which few other plants can survive. Its extracts are widely used by body builders.Gokshura, ChotaGokhru, Puncture vine, Devil’s weed, Gokhru is a herb that is used to deal with kidney and urinary problems. There are 2 species recognized in India with one called BadaGokhru (Big Gokhru) and the herb described here being called ChotaGokhru (Small Gokhru).
