The main activity of xylanase is endo-xylanase, which can cut off the soluble and non-soluble fibrous structure in araboxylan, and which also contains the activity of β-glucanase, cellulose and glucoamylase. While digesting botanic raw material, these enzymes are very effective.

TTX xylanase is applied in cereal feeds which contain a rich amount of pentosan, such as wheat, corn and soybean meal. It is an important feed enzyme.
