Millets are a group of highly variable small-seeded grasses, widely grown around the world as cereal crop or grains for both human food and fodder. India is the largest producer as well as exporter of millet with more than 10 million tones of annual production. Green Millet is very rich in fat than wheat, thus a good source of nutritional content. Millets are also rich in B vitamins (especially niacin, B₆ and folic acid), calcium, iron, potassium, magnesium, and zinc thus it has become a part of staple diet of people of many countries.
