Product Type	This low temperature baking paint is used as triple-layer top coat. It features accurate colours, high gloss, high hardness and cubic effect. Easy to apply, it is durable and won’t fade easily.
Purpose	Polished, completely dry, in good condition original paint, old paint surface and intermediate paint surface.
Substrate	The old paint and all kinds of mediun paint,primer is surface have been hardened and abraded Sand with 600-800#grit paper wet or 400-600# grit paper dry
Mixing Ratio	A150 Blue Pearl 100parts Thinner 100parts
Notice	1, read the instructions before construction; 2, with the former the paint and hardener ratio adjusted as required, how much with how much Stir used within 6 hours run out; 3, the construction process to keep dry and clean, non-contact with water, acids, alcohols, bases, etc.; rear drums with paint hardener must Gaiyan avoid jelly scrapped; 4, during the construction and dry, shall not be greater than 85% relative humidity,

Application  Details:

(1) Substrate Treatment
① Wet-sand the middle-coating paint with 800-grit sand paper. When the paint is dry, spray pearl paint.
② If the there’s old paint film unsuitable for the substrate, it is suggested to use two-component middle-coating blocking primer, otherwise such phenomena as peeling off, bubling and floating would appear.
③ As the pearl paint has a high transparency, usually operators should ensure that the paint film of the middle-coating baking paint is unified in colour and has no sanding mark and grain on it, or the marks and grains would emerge through the pearl paint.
(2) Application Content:
① Dilutiing Proportion: A150 Blue Pearl : thinner★=1: 0.8~1  (★Make a proper thinner proportion according to different temperatures)
② Spray Viscosity: 15~19S(spray-4 cups)/25℃
③ Spray Pressure:4-5 Pa ;
④ Nozzle Diameter: gravity type 1.2~1.5mm
                               Suction type 1.4-1.6mm
⑤ Spray Coats: 2~3 coats
⑥ Spray Thickness: 15~25μm;
⑦ Waiting Interval: 5~10 minutes; After the final spray, wait 15-20 minutes before spraying a finish varnish.
(3) Colour Flexibility: For repairs, adjust the colour using Huantong 1K Series colour master.
(4) Tool Cleanings: Clean with the thinner.

 

 

Precautionss:

① As pearl paint may produce colour difference on the surface due to different film
thickness and different spraying methods (dry or wet spray), it is suggested to adopt wetter spray application.
② To spray a pearl paint, using our special-designed thinner can get a better effect.
③ The paint film of pearl paint should never exceed 25μm.
④ To spray pure white pearl paint, you must adopt triple-step spraying method.
⑤ Spray a finish varnish 15-20 minutes after spraying the metallic paint. The longest interval should never exceed 2 hours.
