Prior to shipping, the rice is packaged in special vacuum packs developed for export rice,

so that the polished rice can be kept fresh for an extended period,

protected from insect pests and kept at a constant moisture level.

Besides, the amount of water should be noticed. From October to around March, April of the next year, the rice’s moisture is still maintained, so you should cook the rice in a little of water. Since May, June, the rice is dried out, you can cook in the amount of water at your normal sense.
