White Peony Extract is prepared from the fresh or dried rhizome of Paeonia lactiflora Pall by cutting and subsequent extraction with water. It contains glucosides of paeonia including paeoniflorin, hydroxyl- paeoniflorin, paeonin, and benzoylpaeoniflorin etc.
