PA66 is a partially crystalline plastics offered in translucent or opaque colours, with the effect of UV ray it will have some shining colour in either light-purple or light-blue. It has high mechanical strength and stiffness, good electrical insulation properties, highest abrasion resistance within the PA group, high resistance to heat and chemicals (especially oil), low friction, wear resistance, attenuation of noise and vibration, and outstanding ease of processing. However, it has high water absorption which leads to low dimensional stability.
