Bmw tv activator The tv-activator is designed for following bmw models with standard navigationsystem & tv-tuner: E38, e39, e46 & e53, from on:09/97 or from the start of the carline production. The ignition must be switched on before programming of the tv-activation and switch off the ignition afterwards. The programming lasts about 10 sec. The application of the diagnostic connections: The round 20-pin connection is used predominated in models with both diagnostic sockets, in this cars the obd-2 socket is only connectet to the ecu only for emissions. Red = tv locked, no picture at all times. Yellow = factory-standart, no picture while driving 6km/h or faster. Green = tv activated, picture while driving.
