For use of the placing boom, a vertical floor

opening with the same sizes on each floor of

the building to be constructed is required to

be built, and the placing boom will be fixed in

it. When the building has been constructed

to a certain height and the floor plates have

sufficient strength to bear loads imposed by

the placing boom, the placing boom is allowed

to climb up along the openings by selfclimbing

system or tower crane.

 

If the floor is large in size, it is advisable to

have several tower bodies mounted on the

floor so that only one boom-assembly is

needed to be lifted to move to the tower

bodies, thereby saving boom-assemblies and

cost.
