This lock has 8 spaces and 4 Depths



Depth 4 is the deepest cut and number 1 is the shallowest cut



all 8 wafers are in this lock and all positions in the door lock can be read with the smart tool



This lock is a generation 2 with groups of 2 wafers...2 up and 2 down



Generation 1 of this lock would have opposing wafers 1 up 1 down and was used until around 2002.



To check and see if the lock you are working on is generation 1 or generation 2 by engering the 2-in-1 tool and (with no tension) test to see if the wafers in positions 1 and 2 are moving in the same direction, if so this is a generation 2 lock



This is a single lever arm 2 in 1 pick/decoder



To decode the lock read in the OPPOSITE direction as it was picked

Volkswagen 2-3 generation lock open tips:



2-3 generation lock 14, 58 wafer little wider.23, 67 wafer litter narrower.



First should pick 15 and 84 wafer, andthen pick 37.62.wafer



And these 4 pieces wafers need to be picked repeatedly



If after pick 15,84 wafer and 37.62 wafer don't have any reaction then it means the 15,84 wafer don't be picked in proper position or you had picked over. So you have to try again to pick 15, 84 water till they are picked, successful. If  you pick the 15.84 wafer and the position is over then you need to drop these wafer a litter.



When you drop the wafers then you have to listen carefull



(Don't drop too muchm if too much then the wafers will drop down)



After you drop then you try to pick 37,62 wafer agian, At this moment you will feel the 37,62 water will move.



So you have to pick 37,62 wafer repeatedly.(For 62,37 wafer also do the same steps)
