High Quality Rare Metal Bismuth
Product description
Bismuth is mainly used to make fusible alloys, and in the fire protection and electrical industry, it is used as automatic fire extinguishing system, electrical fuse and soldering tin. Bismuth alloy has the characteristic of non shrinkage during solidification, and is used for casting printing type and high-precision mold. Bismuth oxycarbonate and bismuth oxynitrate are used to treat skin injuries and gastrointestinal diseases.
Bismuth was previously considered to be the most stable element with the largest relative atomic mass, but in 2003, it was found that bismuth had extremely weak radioactivity, and its half-life was determined to be 1.9 × 1019. This means that bismuth may not undergo visible decay before the demise of mankind.
