Precautions for lifting plates

1. When lifting steel plates with an area of more than 6 square meters, steel plate clips are not used, and lifting lugs must be welded.

2. The thickness of the plate used to make the lifting lug shall not be less than 16mm.

3. The steel plate with a hoisting length of more than 6m must use a hoisting shoulder pole.

4. Clamps or special tools must be used when lifting 2 or more plates.

5. It is prohibited to hoist with a single sling.

When selecting the sling specification, the size, weight, shape of the load to be lifted, as well as the service mode coefficient affected jointly by the lifting method to be used must be included in the calculation. The requirements for the ultimate working force given must be taken into account. At the same time, the working environment and the type of load must be considered.
