Precautions for lifting plates

1. When lifting steel plates with an area of more than 6 square meters, steel plate clips are not used, and lifting lugs must be welded.

2. The thickness of the plate used to make the lifting lug shall not be less than 16mm.

3. The steel plate with a hoisting length of more than 6m must use a hoisting shoulder pole.

4. Clamps or special tools must be used when lifting 2 or more plates.

5. It is prohibited to hoist with a single sling.

Slings are ropes made of steel wire ropes or synthetic fibers for hoisting. It is also called jack rope or jack rope or rope buckle. It is used to connect the crane hook and the hoisted equipment.
