Neoprene can be used as an insulator in power transformers, bulbs and other electrical applications due to its fireproof and anti-static properties. Neoprene is also used for electrical sealing gaskets to provide waterproof sealing, heat resistance and anti-static, and to prevent the entry of dust and pollutants.

Water sports and diving fabric:

Neoprene is used to make diving suits and flying fishing wading suits because it helps to resist the cold. A wetsuit made of closed cell foam neoprene can provide insulation against cold water by trapping heat in the wetsuit.
