Diesel generator is a small power generation equipment that refers to a power machinery that uses diesel as fuel and diesel engine as the prime mover to drive the generator to generate electricity. The entire unit is generally composed of diesel engine, generator, control box, fuel tank, starting and control battery, protection device, emergency cabinet and other components. It can be used for daily power generation and emergency power generation in various households, offices, large, medium and small enterprises.

In the cylinder of the diesel engine, the clean air filtered by the air filter is fully mixed with the high-pressure atomized diesel injected by the fuel injector. Under the upward compression of the piston, the volume shrinks and the temperature rapidly increases, reaching the ignition point of the diesel. After diesel is ignited, the mixed gas burns violently, expands rapidly, and pushes the piston down. This process is called "doing work". The mechanical energy generated by doing work is transmitted to the generator through the crankshaft. The generator uses the principle of "electromagnetic induction" to output induced electromotive force, which can generate current through a closed load circuit.
