Artificial turf, also known as artificial turf or synthetic turf, is a ground covering made of synthetic fibers (usually materials such as polyethylene (PE) or polypropylene (PP)), which mimics the appearance and feel of natural lawns. These fibers are fixed by backing materials (usually polyester or polyurethane) and can be embedded into sand or rubber particles to provide stability and simulate the feeling of a natural lawn.
