The working principle of the foamer nozzle​ is based on the Venturi effect in fluid dynamics. When a fluid (such as water or other liquids) passes through a nozzle, the flow velocity will increase and the static pressure will decrease due to the sudden reduction in the cross-section of the pipeline. The decrease in static pressure creates a negative pressure zone inside the nozzle, which has the ability to adsorb surrounding air or other fluids.

When air is drawn into the negative pressure zone and mixed with the main fluid, bubbles are formed. Subsequently, the fluid enters the diffusion part of the nozzle, the flow rate slows down, the pressure gradually recovers, and the bubbles stabilize and flow out with the fluid.
