The working principle of the water meter check valve is based on the action of fluid pressure. When a fluid (such as water) flows in the normal direction, the fluid pressure will open the valve disc, allowing the fluid to pass through. When the fluid attempts to flow in the opposite direction, the valve disc will automatically overlap under the action of fluid pressure, cutting off the reverse flow path of the fluid and thus preventing the backflow of water flow.

Water meter check valve, also known as check valve or one-way check valve, is an automatic valve installed near the water meter to prevent water flow from reversing. The water meter check valve can ensure that water in the pipeline can only flow in one direction, effectively preventing the backflow of water flow. By preventing backflow of water flow, the water meter check valve can reduce the self rotation phenomenon caused by the reverse flow of water flow, thereby ensuring the accuracy of water meter measurement. Preventing backflow of water flow can also prevent damage to pipeline equipment caused by reverse impact of water flow, extending the service life of the equipment.
