The overheating protection mechanism works as follows in an automatic industrial drying oven:
1. Temperature monitoring
Temperature sensors, such as thermistors, thermocouples, etc., are installed inside the drying oven, and these sensors are able to monitor the temperature changes inside the oven in real time. They are usually distributed in different locations of the drying box to ensure that the temperature of each area can be accurately detected.
2. Temperature Comparison
The sensor transmits the detected temperature signal to the control system. A temperature threshold is pre-set in the control system. When the actual temperature exceeds this threshold, the system will immediately activate the protection mechanism. This threshold is usually set according to the temperature tolerance of the electronic components and the requirements of the drying process.
3. Protection Execution
Once the temperature exceeds the set threshold, the control system will quickly take measures to protect the equipment and components. Common protective measures include:
Cut off the heating power supply: Cut off the power supply of the heating element through relay or contactor to stop heating.
Stop fan operation: Turn off the circulating fan to prevent the hot air from continuing to circulate and avoid further temperature rise.
Issuing alarm signal: Remind the operator of the overheating condition of the equipment through sound and light alarms, and take timely measures.
4. Reset mechanism
When the equipment is overheated and protected, it needs to be restarted only when the temperature drops to a safe range. There are usually two reset methods:
Automatic reset: When the temperature drops to the set safety value, the control system will automatically restore the normal operation of the equipment.
Manual reset: It is necessary for the operator to manually check the status of the equipment and press the reset button after confirming that there is no error before the equipment can be restarted.
Through the above steps, the overheating protection mechanism can effectively prevent the drying oven from causing damage to the electronic components due to the abnormal rise in temperature during operation and ensure the safety of the equipment and operators.
