A hurricane light must have a saddle. The saddle is an iron cylinder frame, with an oil pan and screw cover at the bottom, fully enclosed, and no oil leakage. There are two iron covers at the upper end, with gaps in each layer for easy air release. In the middle is a glass cover. There is also a wire handle. This type of lamp rarely stays at the corner of the stove, mostly wandering outdoors. It forms a family of lamps with the cover lamp at home, one main exterior and the other main interior. The hurricane lamp is the great husband among the lamps.

Hurricane light is a portable and weather proof kerosene lamp that can be hung on a horse during night riding, hence its name. Most of the coastal areas are used on ships, and there is also the term 'boat lights', especially in windy and rainy weather. They are really a lighting tool for fishermen!
