We take orders for export depending on the grades and sizes required.

A/B Grade

 

A Grade: Best Face free of Defects, knots and sap wood, Worst Face may contain bright sap on edges not more than 25% of face. Sound live knots, 1 max per 2ft.

 

 

B Grade: Best Face may contain bright sap on edges not more than 25% of face. Sound live knots, 1 max per 3ft length. Worst Face may contain bright sap on edges not more than 50% of face & Sound live knots.

 

No Centre Pith, no Rot, no stain, no dead knots.

 

C Grade – will contain all defects and more suited for furniture as the factory will have to spend time cutting out defects – leaving small pieces of usable wood.

 

Air Dry Timber has an Moisture Content (MC) of 20 – 40% depending how long it has been cut for and seasoned.

 

For KD Timber MC would be 14%+/-
