Application Details:

(1) Application Substrate: The substrate should be coated with primer and sanded and cleaned,

(2) Application Contents:

① Mixing Proportion: two-component middle coating: hardener: thinner★ =5: 1: 1~1.5(★Make a proper thinner proportion according to different temperatures)

② Stirring: Stir fully and evenly after mixing. Filter with a 120-mesh copper sieve before use.

③ Application Method: 2-3 layer single spray; volatile time for each spray is 5~10 minutes.

④ Spray Thickness: 40~60μm;

⑤ Spray Viscosity: 18~19S (spray-4 cups)/20℃

⑥ Spray Pressure: 4-5Pa

⑦ Drying Time: 4~8 hours (25℃) or 45 minutes (70℃) ;

 ⑧ Pot life: 4~6 hours at 25℃

Precautions:

(1) The two-component middle coating has a special hardener, but it can also be used  together with 2K general-purpose hardener. The special hardener contains a little isocyanic acid that irritates the respiratory tract. Operators should wear respirators  and the operating site should be well ventilated.

(2) HUANTONG middle coating can be directly sprayed on the putty, epoxy primer and old paint film after they’re buffed and cleaned.

(3) The two-component middle coating provides the substrate a certain blocking effect. When putty or other filling putty are applied on the primer coating, the gloss on it might be uneven, but this is a normal phenomen.

(4) This product is sensitive to the oil stain and water content on the base layer and the oil and water inside a windpipe. Therefore, attention must be paid to prevent water affection on the working site and tools;

(5) The middle coating must be as thick as 40μm after the sanding.

(6) The middle coating having mixed with hardener must be used up in time. Do not keep and use it again.
