Dispersant 111
Used in solvent-based and solvent-free coatings and printing inks to stabilize inorganic pigments, especially titanium dioxide, through solvent-free wetting and dispersion. This dispersant achieves pigment deflocculation via steric hindrance stabilization. Due to the extremely fine particle size of the deflocculated pigments, high gloss and increased color strength can be achieved. Furthermore, the transparency of transparent pigments and the hiding power of opaque pigments are also improved. The reduction in viscosity improves flow properties and allows for increased pigment loading.
